According to Sir Karl Popper, there is a need for a rethinking of scientific principles, so that they came closer to the truth. While pseudoscience considers itself self-proven, science tests itself in many criteria. Support of logic and mathematics is necessary to reach the truth. The unscientific method is based only on the explanation. Sir Karl Popper first questioned the theories of many scholars such as Thomas Kuhn, Sigmund Froed, Karl Marx. This article informs the importance of Sir Popper's falsification theory on research done in the field of sociology.
