This paper attempts to introduce unknown tribal artists, away from the glitz and glamour of contemporary modern art. It specifically attempts to highlight new questions arising among artists from tribal backgrounds. In art history, this segment has generally remained obscured, alienated from the mainstream due to neglect, lack of communication, and challenges of communication barriers. This research paper primarily interviews Phula Pargi, a Bhil tribal artist from the Udaipur region of Rajasthan, to reveal his true identity. Furthermore, it introduces the current situation of Bhil, Gond, and Warli tribal artists. Contemporary capitalism, marketism, globalization, bureaucracy, and opportunism have led to the emergence of many new questions, and this paper attempts to highlight these very questions.
