Abstract [English]

Since independence, there has been a great change and development in all aspects of Indian education. Changes were made in the Indian education system to strengthen the path of national development in accordance with the needs of the individual and society. The role of school education is very important for the overall development of students. The main objective of this study is to discuss the school education of the recently adopted National Education Policy 2020 in the light of the school education of various education commissions and national education policies after independence in India. The data used in this study has been taken from the reports of the above-mentioned commissions and policies. Apart from these, a lot of information has been taken from published journals, articles, dissertations and research works. Content analysis has been used to conduct this study. All the data has been taken from secondary sources. The findings of this study show that the school education system recently adopted in NEP 2020 is an appropriate example of a modern education system, which is more technology and vocational oriented. Multidisciplinary education, vocational education, mother tongue have been given special importance in school education of NEP 2020. All commissions and educational policies have given importance to quality improvement in school education.

स्वतंत्रता के बाद से भारतीय शिक्षा के सभी पहलुओं में बहुत बड़ा परिवर्तन और विकास हुआ है। व्यक्ति और समाज की आवश्यकताओं के अनुरूप राष्ट्रीय विकास के मार्ग को सुदृढ़ करने के लिए भारतीय शिक्षा प्रणाली में परिवर्तन किए गए। विद्यार्थियों के समग्र विकास के लिए स्कूली शिक्षा की भूमिका बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। इस अध्ययन का मुख्य उद्देश्य भारत में स्वतंत्रता के बाद विभिन्न शिक्षा आयोगों एवं राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीतियों की स्कूली शिक्षा के आलोक में हाल ही में अपनाई गई राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक नीति 2020 की स्कूली शिक्षा पर चर्चा करना है। इस अध्ययन में प्रयुक्त आॅकड़े उपर्युक्त आयोगों और नीतियों के प्रतिवेदनों से लिए गए हैं। इनके अलावा, प्रकाशित जर्नल, लेख, शोध प्रबंध और शोध प्रबंध कार्यों से बहुत सारी जानकारी ली गई है। इस अध्ययन को संचालित करने के लिए विषयवस्तु विश्लेषण प्रयोग मे लिया गया है। सभी आॅकड़े द्वितीयक स्रोतों से लिए गए हैं। इस अध्ययन के निष्कर्ष बताते हैं कि हाल ही में एनईपी 2020 में अपनाई गई स्कूली शिक्षा प्रणाली आधुनिक शिक्षा प्रणाली का एक उपयुक्त उदाहरण है, जो अधिक तकनीक और व्यावसायिक उन्मुख है। एनईपी 2020 की स्कूली शिक्षा में बहु-विषयक शिक्षा, व्यावसायिक शिक्षा, मातृभाषा को विशेष महत्व दिया गया है। सभी आयोगों और शैक्षिक नीतियों ने स्कूली शिक्षा में गुणवत्ता सुधार को महत्व दिया है।
