VARIOUS DIMENSIONS OF LABOUR AND FARMER LIFE IN CONTEMPORARY HINDI POETRY

Abstract [English]

The foundation of social, cultural and political life of any country is its economic condition. Strong, well-planned and systematic economic development accelerates the social order and progress of the country. Today, just as the status of a person is judged by looking at his economic condition, similarly, on the international platform, the development status of a nation is estimated on the basis of its economic development. In our country, the farmers and the working class have a special role in taking the flow of development forward, but their condition is very pathetic today. In the present times, the policies of globalization and the looting tendency of the capitalist people have exploited the lower class a lot. After independence, many laws were made to stop the exploitation of farmers and workers and to give them economic strength, but due to capitalist influence and government weakness, their exploitation continues even today. According to Dr. Shivkumar Sharma, there are only two castes in this world - the exploiter and the exploited. The exploiting class traders, landlords, industrialists are trying to maintain the capitalist system in the name of destiny and as long as this capitalist system remains, the end of exploitation is impossible.

किसी भी देश के सामाजिक,सांस्कृतिक,राजनीतिक जीवन की आधारशिला आर्थिक स्थिति होती है। सुदृढ़, सुनियोजित,योजनाबद्ध आर्थिक विकास देश की सामाजिक व्यवस्था तथा प्रगतिशीलता को गति प्रदान करता है। आज जिस प्रकार किसी व्यक्ति की हैसियत का निर्णय उसकी आर्थिक स्थिति को देखकर किया जाता है,उसी प्रकार अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच पर किसी राष्ट्र के विकास की स्थिति का अनुमान उसके आर्थिक विकास के आधार पर लगाया जाता है। हमारे देश में विकास की धारा को आगे बढ़ाने में किसान एवं मज़दूर वर्ग का विशेष हाथ है,परंतु उनकी स्थिति आज बड़ी दयनीय है। वर्तमान समय में वैश्वीकरण की नीतियों एवं पूँजीवादी लोगों की लूट प्रवृत्ति ने निम्न वर्ग का खूब शोषण किया है। आज़ादी के पश्चात् किसानों एवं मजदूरों के शोषण को रोकने और उनका आर्थिक बल देने के लिए कई कानून बनाए गए,लेकिन पूँजीवादी प्रभाव और सरकारी दुर्बलता के चलते उनका शोषण आज भी जारी है। डॉ.शिवकुमार शर्मा के अनुसार इस संसार में केवल दो ही जातियाँ हैं- शोषक और शोषित। शोषक वर्ग व्यापारी,ज़मींदार,उद्योगपति प्रारब्ध के नाम पर पूँजीवादी व्यवस्था को बनाए रखने के लिए प्रयत्नशील हैं और जब तक यह पूँजीवादी व्यवस्था बनी रहेगी तब तक शोषण का अंत असंभव है।
अंग्रेज़ी युग में व्याप्त पूँजीवादी व्यवस्था के कारण शोषण चक्र में किसान और मज़दूर निर्मम चक्की में पिसता रहा है। न तो किसान को उसकी फ़सल का उचित मूल्य मिलता है और न ही मज़दूर को उसके श्रम का उचित मेहनताना प्राप्त होता है। समकालीन हिंदी कवियों ने मज़दूर एवं किसानों के शोषण के विविध चित्र अंकित किए हैं।वे शोषण के खिलाफ़ आवाज़ बुलंद करते हुए उसके जीवन की अनेक समस्याओं एवं विसंगतियों को भी प्रस्तुत करते हैं।
