The corona virus pandemic has affected all areas of development, but if we talk about education, it has been seriously affected. Due to the lockdown, many changes came in the lives of students, about 32 crore students missed school, college during the pandemic and they got away from educational activities. Children were disproportionately affected by the closure of schools due to COVID because not all children had the opportunity, means or access to learn during the pandemic. For millions of students, the closure of schools will not just be a temporary interruption in their education, but an abrupt end to it. The present research paper explores the effects of COVID-19 on the school education system and functioning and presents suggestions to deal with it in the future.

कोरोना वायरस महामारी के कारण विकास के सभी क्षेत्र प्रभावित हुए है, लेकिन यदि बात शिक्षा की जाए तो यह गम्भीर रूप से प्रभावित हुआ है। लॉकडाउन के कारण छात्रों के जीवन में कई परिवर्तन आए, महामारी के दौरान लगभग 32 करोड़ छात्रों का स्कूल, कालेज छूट गए तथा वे षिक्षण गतिविधियों से दूर हो गए। कोविड के कारण स्कूलों के बंद होने से बच्चे असान रूप से प्रभावित हुए क्योंकि महामारी के दौरान सभी बच्चों के पास सीखने के लिए जरूरी अवसर, साधन या पहुँच नही थी। लाखों छात्रों के लिए स्कूलो का बंद होना उनकी शिक्षा में अस्थायी तौर पर व्यवधान भर नहीं, बल्कि अचानक से इसका अंत होगा। प्रस्तुत शोध पत्र में कोविड-19 का विद्यालय शिक्षा प्रणाली एवं कार्य प्रणाली पर प्रभावों का पता लगाना और भविष्य में इससे निपटने हेतु सुझाव प्रस्तुत किए गए है।
