This research paper refers to Rajasthan's politics, which mainly assesses the proper representation given to women by political parties. In the concept of sustainable development, along with the economic upliftment of all classes, the ideology of women empowerment also got strength. In this sequence, various types of schemes and programs are being run by the Rajasthan government. The priority of the central and state governments has always been the development of women. The result of which can be seen that the governments have been successful in increasing the number of women voters. But the question arises that whether the political parties which bring schemes related to women's upliftment also keep gender equality in representation. This research paper shows the representation of women in political parties through secondary data which is based on factual and qualitative levels. On the basis of the above-analyzed facts, the researcher sends many suggestions through this article which are necessary for the Indian political system.

यह शोध पत्र राजस्थान की राजनीति के लिए संदर्भित है, जो मुख्यतः राजनीतिक दलों द्वारा महिलाओं को दिए गए उचित प्रतिनिधित्व का आंकलन करता है। सतत विकास अवधारणा में सभी वर्गों के आर्थिक उत्थान के साथ महिला सशक्तिकरण की विचारधारा को भी बल मिला। राजस्थान सरकार द्वारा इसी क्रम में विभिन्न प्रकार की योजनाओं व कार्यक्रमों का संचालन किया जा रहा है। केंद्र व राज्य सरकारों की प्राथमिकता सदैव महिलाओं का विकास रहा है। जिसका परिणाम यह देखा जा सकता है कि महिला मतदाताओं की संख्या बढ़ाने में सरकारें सफल रहीं हैं। किंतु प्रश्न यह उठता है कि जो राजनीतिक दल महिला उत्थान से संबंधित योजनाएं लाते हैं, क्या वे प्रतिनिधित्व में भी लैंगिक समानता रखते हैं। यह शोध पत्र द्वितीयक आंकड़ों के माध्यम जो तथ्यात्मक व गुणात्मक स्तरों पर आधारित हैं, राजनीति दलों में महिलाओं के प्रतिनिधित्व को दर्शाते है। उपर्युक्त विश्लेषित तथ्यों के आधार पर शोधकर्ता इस लेख के माध्यम से अनेक सुझाव प्रेषित करता है जो भारतीय राजनीतिक व्यवस्था के लिए आवश्यक है।
