A child is helpless at the time of birth, the task of strengthening that helpless child is done by his parents. Parents are the trainers and helpers of the child. If the environment of the house is favorable to the child, then the parents are successful in shaping the child. According to Prof. Lister Smith - A school should not only be a place to impart theoretical knowledge, but a school should be a place to impart permanent knowledge to the children and the environment of the school should enhance the teaching ability of the teachers and help in the development of the personality of the learners. Students are provided a strong foundation in the family by the parents. And on this foundation, the educational achievement of the students is enhanced in the form of a palace in the schools and the student in the form of a palace is decorated with battlements by the people. By acquiring knowledge, a student who was helpless, weak at the time of birth and his mind was like a blank slate, gets educated and achieves the peak of achievements due to which he gets the position of an officer, this is his educational achievement.

बालक जन्म के समय असहाय होता है, उस असहाय शिशु को सुदृढ़ बनाने का कार्य उसके अभिभावकों के द्वारा किया जाता है। माता-पिता बालक के प्रशिक्षक व सहायक होते हैं। यदि घर का वातावरण बच्चे के अनुकूल है तो माता पिता बालक को गढ़ने में सफल होते ळें प्रो0 लिस्टर स्मिथ के अनुसार - एक विद्यालय को केवल सैद्धांतिक ज्ञान देने वाला स्थान ही नहीं होना चाहिए बल्कि एक विद्यालय को बालकों को स्थाई ज्ञान देने वाला स्थान होना चाहिए तथा विद्यालय का वातावरण अध्यापकों की शिक्षण क्षमता बढ़ाने वाला और शिक्षार्थियों के व्यक्तित्व के विकास में सहायक होना चाहिए। छात्रों को अभिभावकों के द्वारा परिवार में मजबूत नींव प्रदान की जाती है। और इस नींव पर स्कूलों में महल के रुप में छात्रों की शैक्षिक उपलब्धि को निखारा जाता है तथा महल रुपी छात्र को लोगों के द्वारा कंगूरों से सजाया जाता है। ज्ञान प्राप्त करके एक छात्र जो जन्म के समय एक असहाय, दुर्बल तथा मस्तिष्क एक कोरी स्लेट के समान था शिक्षित होकर वह उपलब्धियों के शिखर को प्राप्त करता है जिससे वह एक अधिकारी का पद प्राप्त करता है यही उसकी शैक्षिक उपलब्धि है।
