A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF RISK-TAKING BEHAVIOUR OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS OF GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE COLLEGES

In the present research study, a comparative study of the risk-taking behaviour of undergraduate students of government and non-government colleges has been done. Its objective is to study the risk-taking behaviour of undergraduate students. For this, 30 students from a government college and 30 students from a non-government college of Durg district of Chhattisgarh were selected as a sample. Risk Taking Inventory created by Dr. K. P. Nimbalkar and Dr. R. D. Hadole was used to measure risk-taking behaviour. Survey method was used in this research study. T-test was used for statistical analysis in this research. In the result of the research study, no difference was found in the risk-taking behaviour of undergraduate students of government and non-government colleges. No significant difference was found in the risk-taking behaviour between undergraduate students of government and non-government colleges.

प्रस्तुत शोध अध्ययन में शासकीय तथा अशासकीय महाविद्यालय के स्नातक स्तर के विद्यार्थियों के जोखिम लेने वाले व्यवहार का तुलनात्मक अध्ययन किया गया है। इसका उद्देश्य स्नातक स्तर के विद्यार्थियों के जोखिम लेने वाले व्यवहार का अध्ययन करना है। इसके लिए न्यादर्श के रूप में छत्तीसगढ़ के दुर्ग जिले के शासकीय महाविद्यालय से 30 विद्यार्थी तथा अशासकीय महाविद्यालय से 30 विद्यार्थियों का चयन किया गया। जोखिम लेने वाले व्यवहार को मापने के लिए डॉक्टर के. पी. निंबलकर एवं डॉ आर. डी. हडोले द्वारा निर्मित रिस्क टेकिंग इन्वेंटरी का उपयोग किया गया। इस शोध अध्ययन में सर्वेक्षण विधि का प्रयोग किया गया। इस शोध में सांख्यिकी विश्लेषण हेतु टी परीक्षण का प्रयोग किया गया। शोध अध्ययन के परिणाम में शासकीय एवं अशासकीय महाविद्यालय के स्नातक स्तर के विद्यार्थियों के जोखिम लेने वाले व्यवहार में कोई अंतर नहीं पाया गया। शासकीय एवं अशासकीय महाविद्यालय के स्नातक स्तर के छात्रों एवं छात्राओं के मध्य जोखिम लेने वाले व्यवहार में सार्थक अंतर नहीं पाया गया।
