It is difficult to find the exact meaning of education. School education is considered education, while somewhere the process from birth to death is considered education. Generally, the process of learning is also considered education. Education is not just me teaching and you accepting, but it is a process of development that goes on in both the teacher and the student. Education brings about a change in the behavior of a person, the theoretical basis of education is based on philosophy and philosophy is related to life, the way of living is called philosophy. Determination of objectives would be impossible without resorting to philosophy. Education is purposeful and various philosophies determine its objectives. Education is life in itself, hence life is also education, it contains interaction or interaction. While constantly struggling with the environment, he learned to live.

शिक्षा का सटीक अर्थ लगा पाना कठिन है। विद्यालयीन शिक्षा को ही शिक्षा माना जाता है तो कहीं जन्म से लेकर मृत्यु तक चलने वाली प्रक्रिया को शिक्षा माना गया है। सामान्यतः सीखने की प्रक्रिया को भी शिक्षा माना गया है। शिक्षा केवल मेरे द्वारा पढ़ाना और आपके द्वारा ग्रहण करना नहीं है बल्कि यह विकास कि प्रक्रिया है जो शिक्षक और शिष्य दोनों में चलती है। शिक्षा के द्वारा व्यक्ति के व्यवहार में परिवर्तन आता है, शिक्षा का सैद्धांतिक आधार दर्शन पर आधारित है और दर्शन का संबंध जीवन से है, जीवन यापन के ढंग को दर्शन कहते हैं। दर्शन का अवलंबन लिए बिना उद्देश्यों का निर्धारण असंभव होगा। शिक्षा सोद्देश्य होती है तथा विभिन्न दर्शन उनके उद्देश्यों का निर्धारण करते हैं। शिक्षा स्वयं मेें जीवन है अतः जीवन भी शिक्षा है, इसमें अंत क्रिया या पारस्परिक क्रिया निहित है। वातावरण से निरंतर संघर्ष करते हुए उसने जीना सीखा।
